Building on yesterday's monochromatic dot manicure, today's tutorial is also done using only polish and a dotting tool (can be a formal dotting tool, toothpick, bobby pin, etc.). It is a tad bit more complicated, but totally doable! Because leopard spots are irregular and do not line up, this is a perfect nail art technique for beginners.
First, paint 2-3 coats of nail polish for your base color. While that is drying, decant a bit of each of two more colors onto a piece of foil or plastic wrap. You can also use a silicone nail art mat for this purpose.
Using the lighter of your two dotting colors, make some dots in varying size and some irregularity in the shape. You are going to add an outline to these dots, so don't crowd them too much on the nail.
With the darker color, make some irregular outlines around the light dots. No need to surround them completely, and irregular marks are better here! Finish with a top coat to protect your hard work.
